Abstract

This project aims to study the synthesis and the magnetic, magneto-optical, chiroptical and magneto-chiral properties of e -Co nanoparticles. New synthetic methods for the enantio-selective synthesis of e -Co nanoparticles and new optical characterization techniques will be developed and the existence of the dynamical magneto-chiral anisotropy for these particles will be investigated.

To this aim, a close collaboration will be set up between the Nanochemistry team at LPCNO, and the Magneto-optics team at LNCMI, both world leading experts in their respective domains.
