The preparation by Spark Plasma Sintering of “all-solid-state” monolithic lithium-ion batteries in few minutes allows to obtain cells with good electrochemical performances, especially at high temperature (› 80°C). The “all-solid-state” technology now offers a viable answer to the safety problems of existing batteries.
